Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of KYB and kyb.best. By booking a session or using the site, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
KYB is operated by ALATI Tech Company (شركة ألاتي تيك), a Saudi single-person LLC registered in Jeddah, Commercial Registration 7050668701. Throughout these Terms, "KYB," "we," "our," and "us" refer to ALATI Tech Company operating the KYB service.
2. What KYB is
KYB is an educational and performance assessment service for healthy adults who train at gyms. We measure the electrical activity of your muscles during exercise and give you a personal report ranking which exercises activate your muscles most strongly, with left-vs-right asymmetry analysis.
KYB is not a medical service, not a diagnostic tool, not a therapy, and not a substitute for advice from a licensed physician. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and physically able to perform resistance exercises to use KYB. By booking a session, you confirm both.
4. Booking and payment
You book a session through kyb.best and pay at checkout. All prices are in Saudi Riyals (SAR) and include VAT. We accept Mada, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Tabby, and Tamara (or whichever methods are listed at checkout). Once payment clears, your session is confirmed and you receive a confirmation email.
5. Cancellation, no-show, and refund policy
- More than 24 hours before your session: full refund (100%).
- Less than 24 hours before your session: refund of the price paid minus a cancellation fee equal to the lesser of (a) 20% of the price paid, or (b) SAR 500. The cancellation fee is a pre-agreed estimate of our operational loss (slot blocked, operator scheduled, equipment prepared, non-refundable payment-processor fees), not a penalty.
- After your session has started, including if you end early: no refund.
- No-show (you do not arrive and have not cancelled in advance): no refund.
Reschedule: free if requested more than 24 hours before your session. Inside 24 hours, a reschedule request is treated as a cancellation under the rules above.
Multi-session bookings: a booking that includes multiple scheduled sessions is treated as one purchase. The 24-hour cutoff is measured from the first scheduled session. If you cancel after the first session has taken place, no refund is issued for remaining sessions.
Refund timeline: we issue qualifying refunds within 14 business days, returned to the same payment method used at booking. Bank processing (Mada, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay provider, Tabby, Tamara) may add 3 to 10 additional business days before the refund appears in your account.
6. The session
The session takes place in person at the gym or location agreed at booking. The operator places surface EMG electrodes on your skin and guides you through a series of resistance exercises. You choose whether to perform each exercise within your physical capacity. The operator will not pressure you to perform any exercise you do not feel safe doing.
Before sensors are placed, you will be asked to confirm verbally that you do not have any of the following: a pacemaker or implanted electronic medical device, an active pregnancy, an active heart condition, or an open wound at any sensor placement site. You must answer truthfully.
7. Your report
After the session, your personal report is available at kyb.best at a private link we send to you. Before viewing it for the first time, you sign our Report Access Agreement (digital signature on the platform, bilingual AR + EN, one signature covers both languages).
The report is for your personal use. You may share screenshots with your trainer or physician. You may not resell the report or use it commercially.
8. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Arrive on time for your session.
- Truthfully disclose any pre-existing conditions when asked.
- Follow the operator's safety instructions.
- Use kyb.best only for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to access other customers' data, reverse-engineer the platform, scrape it, send spam through it, or use it in any way that breaks Saudi law.
9. Intellectual property
The KYB name, logo, exercise library, report format, and platform design are owned by ALATI Tech Company. Your personal session data is yours, subject to the licenses you grant in the Report Access Agreement.
10. Aggregated statistical use
We may produce aggregated statistical analyses from session data across many customers (for example, "1 in 3 clients show significant glute asymmetry"). Aggregated outputs do not identify you personally and may be shared publicly.
11. Limitation of liability
You willingly assume the inherent risks of resistance exercise during your session. To the maximum extent allowed by Saudi law, our total monetary liability arising from any single session, under any legal theory, is limited to the price you paid for that session.
This limitation does not apply to harm directly caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute will be resolved first by good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute will be referred to commercial arbitration in Riyadh under the Saudi Arbitration Law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes will be announced on kyb.best with at least 30 days advance notice. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when we last revised them.
